Huh??

Seriously I am so shocked.
On my last blog I put a note about how I'd spent an insane amount of time figuring out who the quarterbacks are on my BYU quarterback legends cup and NOT ONE PERSON commented or emailed wanting to know just WHO they were.
I mean come ON people! What's the deal???!!!!
So I will tell you anyway. Cuz I know you really want to know.

Brandon Doman is number 11
John Beck and Steve Sarkisian are number 12
Robbie Bosco and Marc Wilson are number 6
Gifford Nielsen and Ty Detmer are number 14
Steve Young is number 8

A conspicuous omission is number 9 Jim McMahon. I don't care that this man is not following "the plan"... he deserves to be on the cup. In the 1980 Holiday Bowl, BYU rallied from a 45–25 deficit with only 4 minutes to play to defeat Southern Methodist University (SMU). Trailing 45-39 with only seconds left in the game, Jim McMahon completed a game winning touchdown pass to Clay Brown. Based on that alone he deserves to be on the cup. N and I watched that game the other night on KBYU. N was so into it he was jumping up and down and yelling. Pretty exciting. Should be on the cup. Definetly.

On another "kind-of-related" note.... E1's friend Chauncy Singleton has a little sister named Stahli. As in Luke Stahli. I don't know how they spell it but dang that is a cool name. Too bad no more little Sheffers will be born in this family as I would want to name my next one Fui or Vakapuna or something. Somehow that just doesn't have the same ring to it.
