ALL HAIL TO GEORGE DUBYA!!!

We feel it our patriotic duty to spend our economic stimulus payment. I mean, that is the point right? If you save it.... you are not stimulating anything but your own financial health. And how selfish is that?

SO.... being the good americans we are, we first considered purchasing the "George Dubya Swingset". Then we considered using the money to purchase bookshelves for our front room (which would henceforth be called the "George Dubya Library". But in the selfish nature of this whole project we ended up purchasing a big 52" flat screen TV for our bedroom wall. It has High Def so we were going to call it the "Dubya Def" but it has been shortened to "Dub dub." The whole family climbs on the bed and watches American Idol which we may stop watching as Michael Johns got voted off but that is a whole different blog.

ANYWAY..... I received this email from a friend and thought I would share:

The federal government is sending each and everyone of us a $600 rebate.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it will go to the Arabs.
If we purchase a computer it will go to India.
If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car it will go to Japan.
If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan... and none of it will help the American economy.
The only way to keep that money here at home is to buy prostitutes, weed, beer, and tattoos, since these are the only products still produced in the USA. Thank you for your help & please support the US.
